A well established local construction services provider with a solid reputation for delivering cost effective, collaborative solutions is seeking a Senior Site/Project Manager to join their team and assume responsibility for a new build scheme in Salcombe.
The project, is a multi-phase re-development as part of continued investment into the area, and is entering the final stages of the programme.
The Senior Site/Project Manager will assume responsibility for delivering the project to include managing the sub-contractors, organising logistics, liaising with the client and specialist consultants, and assuming responsibility for Health & Safety and QA daily throughout the build process.
We are seeking an all-rounder with sound technical awareness, great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Supported by a visiting Contracts Manager, you should be adept at independently managing Main contracting schemes to £4m.
It is envisaged that the right candidate would have an engineering/design background and be familiar with a range of construction techniques. Knowledge of the local sub-contract market is beneficial and the usual SMSTS, CSCS & FAW will be essential.
This circa 3 month contract is to commence imminently and could convert to a permanent opportunity if desired, subject to performance and continued work pipeline so to register your interest in this role, please forward your CV in the first instance.
