Estimator – North Devon
A regional contractor who specialise in new build commercial and domestic construction, refurbishments and maintenance projects are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The types of work include, Healthcare, Defence, Industrial and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Calculating the costs of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire
- Collating detailed price lists of everything needed on each construction project
- Keeping up to date with inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs
- Preparing and submitting quotations for work and submissions
Requirements:
- Experience of Word, Excel, Work and Autodesk DWG TrueView
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within similar positions
- Holds a full UK driving licence and willing to travel
- Ability to write clear and precise reports
