We are pleased to be working alongside an award winning provider of business and property services, workspace management and affordable housing in South West and are looking for a handyperson to oversee the Facilities side of the company! This is a permanant role which will require an interview prior to starting.
You will be undertaking day to day maintenance roles to include
Moving office Furniture into meeting rooms
Fixing and maintaining everyday objects in various buildings
Booking in more senior trades if needed IE: Plumbers and Carpenters
Completing paperwork for orders of anything needed within the FM positon
Essential Skillset and knowledge
Be able to lift and move furniture and other items up to 20kg in weight
Be able to communicate face to face and over the phone with colleagues and management
To respond to emails and work orders
Understand and be able to complete basic maintenance tasks
Have knowledge of Manual Handling and Working at height
Be able to use hand and power tools
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have the ability to travel between various South West locations
Desirable Experience
Worked in a Construction or Trades based sector
Caretaking experience
Plumbing or Carpentry knowledge
