I have a new vacancy for a development manager in Cornwall. This is a permanent role working for a well-known and reputable organisation that require an additional development manager to join their department which consists of 4 currently. The vacancy is due to work load and demand and therefore now is the right time to expand the team.
The client is wanting a knowledgeable candidate who can hit the ground running and take a number of projects forward to planning! A large amount of new sites coming through that require planning for with an aim of becoming a 250 PA developer, now seems like a great time to be joining them!
Summary of key duties:
- Identifying and appraising sites
- Due Diligence
- Funding approval
- Acquisition and gaining planning consent
- Supporting technical with detailed design
- Leading external consultants
Experience and Attributes required:- Proven background working for a developer
- Accustomed to securing planning permission for medium to large scale developments
- Motivated and driven in your working approach
- Strong commutation and organisation skills
- Team player
- Detailed and thorough
- Well versed in the planning system!

Salary as always will very much DOE and will range from £50k - £55k PA Plus package and excellent benefits.
