Project Director – Somerset
RGB Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well know and established Tier One Contractor in search for a Project Director to manage a brand new commercial scheme valuing £100m. As the Project Director, you will provide leadership and direction to the team, will carry the responsibility for the management and success of the project with focus on delivery and quality of the scheme. To be considered for this role, it is essential you have previously worked for a Tier One Principal Contractor and have recently managed multimillion pound schemes.

Responsibilities:

• Managing initial Pre-construction, Bid Management, Client Liaison and logistical requirements of the project to final handover
• Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and managers to report on progress
• Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
• Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
• Reporting to clients and board members on project progress
• Recommending policy and procedure improvements
• Monitoring performance against agreed criteria
• Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
• Dealing with contract disputes and mitigating the impact of any issues

• Managed multimillion pound projects from cradle to grave
• Proven delivery capability to clients full satisfaction
• Must have IT skills and use the main software packages competently
• Detailed Health and Safety knowledge
• Relevant construction related qualification and site tickets including SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS card
• Having experience within Nuclear desirable
• Full UK driving licence
