An opportunity for a Bid Coordinator has arisen to join a well-established South West construction company on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure that accurate information is provided to enable the successful winning of competitive bids and tenders and to manage, prepare and complete information for approval to allow submission to be made by designated deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Write clear and concise prequalification and tender submissions.
Take a lead role in reading and understanding the PQQ, SQ and tender information and produce plans with agreed actions and milestones to complete the submissions to an exceptionally high standard.
Review/proofread the final production materials to ensure that message quality, format and content meet agreed objectives and answer the relevant questions being asked.
Manage and contribute to the preparation and submission of all PQQ’s, SQ’s and tenders.
Skills:
An ability to communicate effectively with technically oriented people, including the ability to work with construction staff, discuss technical questions and write responses.
IT literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
A track record of results in similar role within the construction industry.
