As the sun set in Cardiff, the British summer was in full force for what was a fantastic event, bringing together businesses for an afternoon of fierce competition and supporting an incredibly worthy cause.
Along with Arup, Atkins, Churngold Construction, Knights Brown, National Grid, RPA Group, TACP, Tetra Tech, Volos and Walters, RGB took to the pitch and battled it out over several games in a valiant chase for the coveted trophy. While the day may not have ended in trophies for the RGB team, it was packed with smiles, laughs, and plenty of spirited play.
Even though the scoreboard didn’t swing in our favour, the purpose behind these events goes far beyond a football score. They’re a reminder of the importance of community, well-being, and mental health in the modern world.
A huge thank you to Burroughs and Bigmoose for organising a fantastic day for an even better cause. We may not have brought home the silverware, but we’re proud to have supported such a meaningful initiative that has raised over £ 3,000 and counting.
We can’t wait to lace up the boots again next year!
