Project Manager – Plymouth
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a regional construction company within the heart of Devon. As the Project Manger, you will have full responsibility of managing projects from cradle to grave to the exacting standards of the company with types of works including refurbishments, commercial new build, extensions within leisure, industrial, Education ranging in value from £10k to £10m.

Responsibilities:

• Will oversee production from cradle to grave, maintain & develop overall strategy for the project
• Assist with site planning, design and construction programme and oversee the build process
• Coordinate work of subcontractors for various phases
• Establish timelines, calculate labour and material costs
• Generate and issue regular internal and external project reporting
• Report the progress and any necessary modifications of plans
• Liaise and chair meetings with site staff and clients
• Ensure the project is completed on time, within scope and to budget
• Implement and ensure H&S for site staff, visitors and the public are strictly adhered to

• Demonstrate financial knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety
• SMSTS
• Relevant CSCS card
• First Aid at Work
• UK driving licence
• HNC or above within construction
• Previous experience in a similar role with a main contractor
• Engineering background desirable
