A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading social housing provider based in Cornwall as the Lead on their energy efficiency strategies relating to their properties.
The position as a Property Services Energy Efficiency Lead would take the lead in the delivery and coordination of energy investment programmes, and act as the main retrofit coordinator responsible for energy works. Further responsibilities would include:
To analyse property energy data and devise programmes to allow for major improvement works
To assist with the programming of works and ensuring that this is all conducted within health and safety guidelines
To lead on the procurement of contractors and sub-contractors, and oversee the energy improvement works to ensure these are delivered in a timely manner within budget
Ensuring energy data relating to properties is collected and processed accurately
To ensure works are completed on time and within budget
To report on energy improvements as required and upload this to various database systems
To provide training and guidance where appropriate
The ideal candidate would have:
A Retrofit Coordinator/ Assessor qualification
A qualification and relevant experience in domestic energy assessment
A degree in Building Services or equivalent
Experience in managing employees
Knowledge of surveying practices
Understanding of current energy efficiency investment measures
